Beauty.com $10 off $60 and free shipping

Beauty.com is taking $10 off your $60 order through this link. Free Shipping starts at $25.
When I was browsing there I was intrigued by SkinFusion Micro-Technology Bio Active Brightening Minerals – Radiance. It seems to have a good combo of benefits for a mineral powder – firms and tightens, boosts cell metabolism, muscle inhibitors, time release anti-inflammatory properties, and illuminates your skin – in a featherweight formula that brightens your skin as soon as it goes on. I haven’t tried it yet but I’m pretty familar with the Fusion Beauty line, and they seem to have “smarter” products than a lot of competitors – they wouldn’t release a mineral makeup simply because mineral makeup is popular – it would have to be a innovative product. If anyone has tried it please leave a comment and let us know what it’s like. Also comes in a translucent and a medium shade – but this pink-ish shade would provide most complexions with a nice glow, I think.

The skinny on Hylexin for undereye circles
Posted on January 26, 2008
If you have under eye circles that are darker than you like, you have probably heard about Bremenn Research Labs Hylexin™ 0.78 oz, the undereye circle lightener. However, it doesn’t work for everyone. If your circles have blue or purple understones, Hylexin may be the thing for you since Hylexin works on when capilaries break under your eyes and the blood pools there, making your under eyes dark. If you have dark circles that have brown or yellow undertones, Hylexin likely won’t work for you since those kinds of circles are caused by sun damage.
If Hylexin works for you, you will need to continue to use it. And fortunately, there are ways to offset the long term price:
It is available at Sephora for $95. If there is a Sephora promo going on, it may be worth trying through Sephora to see if it works for you first.
or
Order Hylexin Skin Cream – two discount options:
- Buy Hylexin for $95.00 and Future orders of Hylexin will automatically bill for $76.00, plus free shipping and handling. Save over $25 per order
- Buy two Hylexin and get $10 off

Thanks to Stylechicks for the heads-up on the discounts.

Bare Escentuals RareMinerals™ Skin Revival Treatment
Posted on January 20, 2008
I was initially skeptical about Bare Escentuals RareMinerals™ Skin Revival Treatment Clear but after hearing rave reviews I decided to try it. I was concerned that it would inflame my rather sensitive skin – it has Vitamins C and A (the vitamin that retinols are derived from), and my skin tends to get red when I use products that have either in them. But I was pleasantly surprised – Rareminerals actually calmed my skin down!
Application is as easy as could be – as you see in the picture, the product comes with a pillow-top applicator - simply shake the product to add some to the applicator and then smooth over your skin. You may feel like nothing is going on since it is so light, but if you run your fingers over the covered skin, you can feel the silky product. And when you take a look in the mirror, your skin looks more even and radiant. After a few days I noticed positive changes to tone and clarity of my skin, and whiteheads disappeared. In addition, some redness I had disappeared. Not bad for a product you can apply in no time flat when you are dead tired at night!
Given the lightness, there is no reason you can’t use it during the day, even though it is a nightime treatment. It comes in several shades, including clear (which still imparts a bit of color), Fair, Medium, and Tan for Darker Complexions. $60 at Sephora and worth every penny.
