Benefit Cosmetics 14% off until February 19th with code from People Magazine
Posted on February 5, 2008
Benefit Cosmetics is offering 14% off your order on their site with code PEOPLE14 through February 19th.
Some products to consider:
Eyebright – swoop this slightly pink pencil on your undereye circles and blend – an instant 8 hours of sleep (at least the appearance thereof….)
Lemonade – Pat this on your lids- an effective and easy as could be brightener/eyeshadow base, regardless of your coloring. I didn’t think it would work for me at all, but I was pleasantly surprised! Works for any area that need brightening.
it stick – I highly recommend this line-diffusing cream pencil. Especially effective on the lines and creases between your nose and your mouth – to use it, after moisturizing, brush it stick horizontally over the creases like you were drawing whiskers on yourself, and then blend. It takes years off your face. Try a quick sweep in your chin crease to soften the area further.
high brow – One of the favorite things in my makeup bag. Trace under your brow line, blend, and stand back and behold yourself looking ten years younger!
Benefit has endless products I could talk about – be sure to read through the descriptions on the site for instructions on how to use the products – they are amazing.
Thanks to Stylechicks for letting us know about this coupon code.

New Products: By Terry “VIP Expert By Terry Light”
Posted on February 2, 2008
I’m really excited about this one. By Terry is a great line of products in general, and now they have an easy to use foundation pen. The By Terry VIP Expert By Terry Light is along the line of YSL Touche Eclat (a beauty product I’d want if I was stranded on a desert island). It’s a click pen that gives you just the right amount of product, but it is a brush big enough to cover larger areas. And by Terry brushes are absolutely amazing – it is night and day compared to other high-end tools. Frankly I consider the $48 cost of By Terry Light to be worth it just for the foundation brush on the end!
The foundation itself is a luminizing blend – the way that touche eclat brightens around your eyes is how the by Terry foundation works on your entire face. The result is refreshed, naturally luminous skin. And while you are faking it with foundation, hyaluronic acid (which does not irritate the skin) plumps up your wrinkles and fine lines and moisturizes the skin, so pretty soon your skin will look luminous on its own, and you’ll just have to use the foundation for touch ups here and there!

by Terry VIP Expert By Terry Light
is exclusively available at Sephora
and comes in four shades so you can have a flawlessly covered face.

The skinny on Hylexin for undereye circles
Posted on January 26, 2008
If you have under eye circles that are darker than you like, you have probably heard about Bremenn Research Labs Hylexin™ 0.78 oz, the undereye circle lightener. However, it doesn’t work for everyone. If your circles have blue or purple understones, Hylexin may be the thing for you since Hylexin works on when capilaries break under your eyes and the blood pools there, making your under eyes dark. If you have dark circles that have brown or yellow undertones, Hylexin likely won’t work for you since those kinds of circles are caused by sun damage.
If Hylexin works for you, you will need to continue to use it. And fortunately, there are ways to offset the long term price:
It is available at Sephora for $95. If there is a Sephora promo going on, it may be worth trying through Sephora to see if it works for you first.
or
Order Hylexin Skin Cream – two discount options:
